The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement (https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva), to be received no later than Friday, August 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm (local prevailing time).
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish service weapons, optics, and holsters as defined herein. The City seeks to establish an ongoing contract that will allow for the purchase of weapons on an as-needed basis to support agency growth, operational demands, and future expansions. Quantities listed in this IFB are estimates only. The City may purchase additional units throughout the contract term as requirements arise.
