Solicitation # RFI-GSMO4-2027
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Goddard Space Flight Center is issuing a Request for Information for the Ground Systems and Mission Operations-4 (GSMO-4) contract. This effort seeks market intelligence and technical approaches from qualified vendors to support a diverse portfolio of science and Earth science missions, including the James Webb Space Telescope, Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, and the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. Technical requirements emphasize the adoption of modern DevSecOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code to automate mission operations. Contractors must adhere to strict NASA Procedural Requirements for systems engineering, software engineering, and cybersecurity, including maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) and managing vulnerability scanning. Responses are due by October 26, 2026, and must include implementation approaches and rough order of magnitude costs.
