This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's imminent issue of an Invitation for Bids to obtain construction services for the "INDIANA HARBOR and CANAL CONFINED DISPOSAL FACILITY - SOUTH END FEATURES. PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract set, the Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, transportation, materials, and equipment in the construction of the support facilities ancillary to the CDF itself, including site security features, an administrative building, maintenance and storage facilities, parking lot, access roads, water main, sanitary tank, and storm sewer installation, decontamination station and a pad to be used for a package waste water treatment plant ACQUISITION INFORMATION: COMPETITION IS LIMITED TO ELIGIBLE 8(A) FIRMS LOCATED WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL BOUNDARIES OF THE INDIANA SBA DISTRICT OFFICE. The classification code for this procurement is North American Industry System Code 237990, which applies a small business size standard in dollars of $33.5M. The magnitude of cost for this construction project is estimated between $5,000,000 Million and $10,000,000 Million. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) Package will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
