The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office is hosting two Industry Days in the United Kingdom and Germany to engage companies qualified to provide daily commute and special needs vehicle transportation services, including buses, vans, and taxis, throughout Europe. These sessions aim to share detailed information about DoDEA’s transportation needs for the school years 2020-2021 through 2022-2023, offer guidance on preparing quotes, and answer questions regarding the procurement process. The events, scheduled for late October 2019 in Lakenheath and Wiesbaden, are intended for informational and planning purposes only, not as a solicitation or request for proposals. Companies interested in participating are encouraged to request private meetings with DoDEA officials to discuss process improvements and address registration queries related to SAM and NCage. This invitation clarifies that no contracts will be awarded based on these Industry Days and the government will not cover any costs associated with participation. Attendance and response to the invitation do not guarantee future contract opportunities, and any official solicitation will be announced via the Federal Business Opportunities website. Interested parties must register by submitting a participation request form via email to designated DoDEA contacts. Further updates and information will be provided prior to the events, and ongoing awareness of FedBizOpps is advised to stay informed about potential future solicitations related to transportation services in Europe.

This invitation does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. DoDEA is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to the subsequent Industry Day; all costs associated with attending the respective Industry Day will be solely at the interested party's expense. Submissions will not be returned. Failure to respond to this invitation does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. At this time, we can also address questions and/or concerns you may have with SAM and NCage registration processes.
