The Architect of the Capitol is seeking a contractor to provide and install Z-band video (CATV System) in the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building (TMFJB) in Washington, D.C. under a firm, fixed-price contract. Briefly, the work involves providing and installing the following: (A) Three (3) Z-Band Video - Gen 4 24 port Optical Video Hub, (B) One (1) in each of three (3) telecom risers located on fourth floor level, (C) Nineteen (19) RG11 Plenum cable as specified to meet installation/integration requirements, (D) Nineteen (19) Z-Band Video - Gen 4 24 port Video Hub as specified to meet installation/integration requirements, (E) 100 (One Hundred) HZ 5002-1 Z-Band Shielded Balun (Free Hanging), (F) 100 (One Hundred) HZ 5002-2 Z-Band Shielded Balun (Free Hanging), and (G) Verify connectivity on both optical and coaxial operation, submitting supporting documentation to meet system operation and integrity. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 14, 2014. The due date for receipt of bids will be on or about August 14, 2014.
