INVITATION FOR BID
This posted announcement is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation of a proposed contracaction in accordance with RFO Subpart 5.2.
The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth issues an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a requirements-type contract (RFO FAR Subpart 16.503, Requirements contracts) for the acquisition of thirteen (13) ELKAY bottle filling stations (or an approved equal meeting or exceeding specified performance characteristics) and associated professional plumbing services for installation in existing water fountains supporting the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel and Logistics (DCSPL) at Presidio of Monterey, California. Typical work includes, but is not limited to:
The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the work, including the delivery and installation of thirteen (13) ELKAY water bottle fillers as detailed in the Scope of Work. The work site encompasses 11 buildings, identified in the award attachment. The Contractor is also responsible for the removal and disposal of all non-essential plumbing materials generated during the project, as further defined in the Scope of Work.
All work shall be performed in accordance with the standards outlined in this contract, current labor market standards, and applicable building and national plumbing codes. This acquisition requires a General Contractor with demonstrated plumbing experience and the capacity to manage multiple task orders concurrently, including construction scheduling, cost estimation, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
Design and installation must comply with ADA & ICC A117.1; ASME A112.19.3/CSA B45.4; CAN/CSA C22.2 No.120; GreenSpec®; NSF/ANSI 42, 53, 61 (Q≤1); NSF/ANSI 372 (lead free); 401 UL 399; and all applicable codes and standards.
