Full Description
The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Bavak Beveiligingsgroep BV, Noordwijk, The Netherlands, for the supply of genuine OEM replacement spare parts for Bavak Xentry-BD vehicle gate systems currently installed at the U.S. Embassy Singapore.
The required parts consist of proprietary mechanical, electrical, and control-system components specifically designed for the Bavak Xentry-BD vehicle gate platform, including motors, gear drive assemblies, photocell transmitters and receivers, optical detector components, guidewheel assemblies, bearings, hinge assemblies, safety buffers, cables, and related replacement components. These parts are required to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, maintain operational readiness, minimize downtime, and ensure continued reliability of the Embassy’s perimeter security infrastructure.
The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Bavak Beveiligingsgroep BV is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the installed Bavak Xentry-BD vehicle gate systems and is the only known source of genuine replacement parts compatible with the existing equipment.
This notice is not a request for quotations and does not constitute a solicitation.
Interested parties that believe they can satisfy this requirement must provide evidence demonstrating their authorization to supply genuine Bavak OEM replacement parts for the Bavak Xentry-BD vehicle gate system. Responses shall include sufficient documentation to establish the offeror’s ability to provide authentic OEM parts fully compatible with the existing installed equipment.
Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
Responses shall be submitted electronically no later than 4:00 PM Singapore Time on June 21, 2026.
The Government will consider all responses received by the closing date solely for the purpose of determining whether competition exists for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
