This contract action is managed by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support Mechanic located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The Government emphasizes that it is not using FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition policies for this procurement, although parties capable of fulfilling the requirement with commercial items may notify the contracting officer within 15 days of the notice. The Government retains sole discretion regarding competition and will evaluate any submissions primarily to determine if competitive procurement is warranted.
