This contract is a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Vacco Industries focused on the maintenance, repair, and restoration of various components within the Valve, General System, with one of the key items being the repair of the Manifold Valve, part number S1E0034-03A. The government does not have access to the proprietary drawings and data necessary for competitive repair of these units, which are exclusively held by Vacco Industries. The synopsis serves as the annual notice of the scope of work covered under the existing BOA, ensuring transparency and providing subcontracting opportunities. The contract is managed by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mechanic office under the Department of Defense and is located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The agreement underscores the specialized nature of the repairs, given that proprietary information restricts competitive sourcing. For further information or potential subcontracting, inquiries are directed to Vacco Industries in South El Monte, California. This posting fulfills the government's obligation to publicly communicate the scope of work annually as part of the existing contractual arrangements.
