Full Description

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Motorola Solutions INC. 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive 3rd Floor Columbia, MD 21046. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This acquisition is a non-personal services contract for Land Mobile Radio Infrastructure maintenance in support of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Ft Campbell. Scope will include radio infrastructure maintenance service with a 2 hours response time in the event of critical system failure as designated by the NEC. The Contractor shall be fully qualified to service, maintain, and install equipment according to the standards established by the equipment manufacturer. Repairs must be provided down to the board and or component level l. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811213 and the small business size standard is 10 Million Dollars. This sole source requirement will be procured under Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer not later than 20 August 2012, 3:00 pm CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Motorola Solutions. Reference the Justification and Approval attached for detailed outline of award decision. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
