Sole Source Synopsis N66001-17-T-0035 Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Mandiant FireEye, Inc. The requirement is for 12 months of services to support use and repair of existing Mandiant hardware and software (procured through N66001-16-P-0045) in performance of discovery and counter-infiltration in response to cyber intrusion. Incident responses appliances are a class of software and hardware combination that detect cyber intrusions on networks and are utilized in both the detection of, and the forensics of a network breach. Based on the aforementioned facts, only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for quote. However, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
