Services Non-Personal:The Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Cast Navigation, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for on site Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Remedial Maintenance (RM) for the 558th SMXS/MXDEC CAST 3000-L10 EGI Tester, located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The tester is a necessary integral component o the E-3 GPS Integrated Navigational System (GINS) Integrated Test Facility (GITF). The GITF is utilized to assist in maintaining the E-3 GINS software. The proposed period of performance is 1September 07 through 30 Aug 08, plus Two (2) option years from 1 Sep 08 ? 30 Aug 09 and 1 Sep 09 ? 30 Aug 2010. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will post on or about 15 August 07. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.org. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
