The solicitation, identified by number 36C26326Q0855 and NAICS code 541519, seeks vendors capable of providing a wired, standalone IP-networked public address system with complete coverage across all main interior campus buildings and outbuildings. The system must support zoned audio distribution, individual and simultaneous paging, zone-specific volume control, and include a battery backup of at least one hour, power line surge protection, lockable racks, and replacement touchscreen panels. All equipment must have a date of manufacture no more than two years prior to the purchase order date and must comply with stringent technical standards including the Modified Rhyme Test (MRT) of ASA S3.2, NFPA-70, NFPA-72, NFPA-99, NEC, UL, OSHA, and VA-specific requirements outlined in Sections 27 51 16 and 26 20 00. The contractor must remove all packaging from VA premises after installation and provide on-site staff training along with a 24x7 phone support help desk for ongoing maintenance, calibration, and user assistance. Documentation, including updated as-built network maps and drawings, must be delivered upon completion. Installation must occur within 180 days after receipt of order, primarily between Monday and Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with after-hours work requiring prior approval. The system must meet strict performance criteria for distortion, acoustic coverage, and power output, and any non-conforming work must be corrected at no additional cost to the government. Full Description
This invitation is open to all vendors who believe they might have the capability to provide the necessary Equipment to the Fargo VA Health Care System.
The purpose of this industry day is to conduct market research as well as to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not there are other sources willing and capable of providing the needed supplies and services.
This Industry Day will also allow potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and possible documentation demonstrating their capabilities. The interested parties will visit the site on the scheduled day for a tour of the area and needs. The site visit will give vendors an idea of the requirements and what will be needed to successfully execute the acquisition.
Please Note: At this time there will not be any form of construction performed to accommodate any equipment. If a contractor feels they will require construction in order to fulfill the acquisition s requirements an explanation is requested.
Attendance at the scheduled site visit is strongly encouraged. The site visit provides Offerors the opportunity to fully understand the scope, site conditions, operation requirements, and any factors that may impact successful performance. While attendance is not mandatary, Offerors who elect not to attend assume the risk of preparing their proposal without the benefit of information obtained during the site visit. Failure to attend will not, by itself, result in exclusion from consideration; however, lack of familiarity with site conditions or requirements will not relieve the successful Contractor from meeting all terms and conditions of the resulting contract.
