JBWRF Treatment Chemicals

The Jordan Basin Improvement District is soliciting bids for the supply, delivery, and unloading of treatment chemicals for the Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility in Riverton, Utah. The required chemicals include aluminum sulfate (8.3%), sodium hypochlorite (10% and 5.25%), and citric acid (50%), with estimated annual quantities of 924,000 pounds of aluminum sulfate, 150,000 pounds of 10% sodium hypochlorite, 166,222 pounds of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, and 4,176 gallons of citric acid. The contract begins on October 12, 2026, and runs through October 31, 2027, with the option for four one-year extensions for a maximum total term of five years. Award will be granted to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest overall cost, though the District may utilize multiple suppliers. Bidders must provide a completed Safety Data Sheet and use the specified bid forms via the Bonfire portal by October 8, 2026. The selected supplier must provide technical assistance regarding storage, safety training, and SDS evaluation, and must adhere to a strict delivery window of three to four calendar days after an order is placed. All products are delivered FOB Point of Delivery, and the District reserves the right to inspect shipments upon delivery to verify quantities and quality before final acceptance.
