JM24 NSWC BLDG 366 FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM UPGRADE 23213347 JM24 B-366 Fire Suppression System Upgrade SHAR 3449 (21973) Fire Suppression system at building 366 is needing upgraded to include the following: Removal, store, and re-installation of the ceiling tile system with replacement of damage ceiling system parts. Installation of sprinkler system in corridor 002, rooms 003, 004, 005, 006, 007, 009, and 011 with no coverage for rooms 010, 012, 013, 014, 14A, 015. Removal of current fiberglass insulation above the ceiling and dispose of material. Spray foam insulation plus one layer of fire retardant barrier over support area excluding rooms 1 (dock) & 15 (equipment room). Installation of new fire service main from east of facility distribution system into room 4. Installation of new fire hydrant and fire service main (and grounded) from a current distribution system to service north side of building. Deficiency ID: 664395 RAC 4. Upgrade of the facilities out dated fire alarm system (upgraded systems panels to be installed inside room 010), and out dated Ultra High Speed Deluge System (upgraded systems panels to be installed inside room 010). Note-Per the Navy Radon Assessment and Mitigation Program (NAVRAMP – dated Sept 2017) the following requirements will need to be implemented after the project is completed.
