This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.


The United States Army Health Contracting Activity, Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West (MRCO-W),  Sources Sought - Karl Storz Integrated OR System Maintenance Fort Bliss, Texas is requesting information and conducting market research to identify and determine if there are potential sources which have the capabilities to provide the requirements specified herein. As part of its market research, MRCO-W is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing on-site, full service, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Karl Storz integrated operating room systems located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. All servicing must be fully performed in accordance with OEM standards and specifications. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement will be greater than one year. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811210. The Government may use the responses to this sources sought for information and planning purposes. This sources sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of MRCO-W market research. No solicitation for this requirement exists at the time of posting for this sources sought notice. Please do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this sources sought are not quotes on which the MRCO-W can issue any contract. This sources sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a RFP or RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract vehicle based only on responses to this sources sought. All information marked “proprietary” that is received in response to this sources sought will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the sources sought will not be returned. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this sources sought. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this sources sought. Respondents shall not submit pricing information in response to this sources sought. Interested sources shall provide a response detailing their capability to provide the requirement specified herein. Reference Attachment 1 of this sources sought for additional information.
