The Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, and demobilization to replace Irrigation Taps No. 6 and No. 6A located on the Kearney Canal, which begins approximately one and one-half (1-1/2) miles east of Elm Creek, Nebraska, and ends in Kearney, Nebraska, and all other requirements as specified in these Contract Documents.

Yes - Mandatory PRE-BID MEETING DATE AND TIME 8/18/2026 10:00 AM PRE-BID MEETING DETAILS A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit for prospective Bidders will be held at the DISTRICT’S Kearney office located at 900 4th Avenue, Kearney, NE, 68845 at 10:00 a.m., CDT, August 18, 2026. Following the pre-bid meeting all prospective Bidders will then visit both sites. The purpose of the pre-bid meeting and site visits will be to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract specifications and to familiarize the Bidder with the project site layout. It is imperative that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. Bids will not be accepted from any Bidder not in attendance at the pre-bid meeting and site visits.
