AI Contract Overview

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking sustaining engineering and field technical support for Rockwell Collins integrated avionics systems and peculiar ground support equipment across a fleet of HH65, HU25, HH60J, and HC130 aircraft. The scope of work includes performing maintenance analyses to address safety of flight issues, conducting testing to determine corrective actions, generating engineering change proposals, and modifying and integrating avionics software. Additionally, the contractor will provide engineering advice, training, and logistical studies, with services performed both at the contractor's facility and in the field. The contract allows for the procurement of prototype and production items via individually negotiated delivery orders. Because the work requires access to proprietary Rockwell Avionics Systems data and specifications not owned by the government, the Coast Guard intends to negotiate with the original equipment manufacturer. Interested firms must submit a comprehensive capabilities statement detailing their facilities, personnel, and a specific plan for obtaining the necessary proprietary data to perform the services.
