Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Software and Implementation Services

CCITC, in cooperation with the Marathon County Health Department Environmental Health Laboratory (Laboratory), is requesting proposals from qualified providers to implement and support a modern hosted Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The project will replace the Laboratory's existing on-premises LIMS environment and is intended to improve maintainability, configurability, security, integration, reporting, and end-to-end laboratory workflow.CCITC is a cooperative government agency jointly funded by Marathon County Government, the City of Wausau Government, and North Central Health Care (NCHC). CCITC provides consolidated information technology services, including data center, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and help desk services. CCITC operations are centered on the Microsoft ecosystem. Relational database services rely substantially on Microsoft SQL Server, and identity and access controls are federated through Microsoft Entra ID to support Single Sign-On (SSO), conditional access, and centralized Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). CCITC favors scalable, secure, supportable, interoperable solutions with robust API capabilities, clear data-segregation boundaries, and defined service-level commitments.The Laboratory is located in Wausau, Wisconsin and performs public drinking-water, private-well, and recreationalwater testing. Current planning estimates are approximately 385 samples and 520 tests per month. The anticipated base subscription is five named Laboratory users, with additional internal read-only users and external portal users as applicable.The current LIMS is an on-premises laboratory information management system. The proposed solution is expected to support browser-based access and hosted/SaaS delivery. Current or anticipated integrations include Workday Invoicing, Wisconsin DNR, and Laserfiche (Document Management).The Provider should use the Requirements Matrix and Pricing Workbook for authoritative response and pricing details.
