The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside University Health Systems – Medical Center (RUHS-MC) is soliciting quotations for laundry services as detailed in Exhibit A - Exhibit B of this RFQ. The County is currently contracting with a vendor that provides laundry services for various hospital linen products and scrub uniforms for the Riverside University Health Systems – Medical Center (RUHS-MC) – Environmental Services Department (EVS). The County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive laundry services for a range of hospital linen products and scrub uniforms used by Riverside University Health System (RUHS). These services are essential to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and fully operational healthcare environment across RUHS facilities. Hospital linens, including bed sheets, blankets, safety blankets, slings and Lab coats with embordering services, patient gowns, towels, and related textile items, as well as clinical scrub uniforms used by medical staff, must be cleaned, sanitized, and processed in accordance with healthcare industry standards and infection control protocols. Proper laundering and handling of these items plays a critical role in preventing the spread of Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs), protecting both patients and healthcare personnel, and ensuring compliance with applicable public health regulations. The selected vendor will be responsible for the routine collection, laundering, sanitization, quality inspection, packaging, and timely return of RUHS-MC linens and scrub uniforms.
