Liberty Sewage Pumps

The City of Tampa has issued solicitation 26-P-00561 to procure Liberty brand sewage and submersible pumps for a one-year period. The scope of work includes the supply of 12 LE51A-2 pumps with floats, one LE51M-2 pump, and 20 257-2 submersible pumps with floats. All items must be shipped Freight On Board Destination, with all shipping and handling costs included in the quote. Deliveries are required between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM on normal working days. Personnel delivering goods to the Port of Tampa must obtain a Port Access Badge, which requires a background check and fingerprinting. The City reserves the right to award the contract by division, line item, or aggregate total to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. While Liberty brand pumps are specified, alternate products of equal quality may be considered if precise specifications are provided. Bidders must submit their quotes electronically via the OpenGov portal by October 15, 2026. Required documentation includes a price proposal, a vendor questionnaire, and proof of insurance for any vendor performing work on City property. Payment is processed approximately 30 days after the receipt and acceptance of materials and the submission of itemized invoices. The contract is subject to the Florida Prompt Payment Act and requires compliance with Florida Public Records Law, Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the City of Tampa Code of Ordinances.
