The United States Air Force (Aviano AB) intends to negotiate sole source with Motorola Solutions, Inc. for the following - Trunking Maintenance and Repair IAW attached Performance Work Statement. This purchase will enable our service to continue without interruption. This purchase will be made under simplified acqusition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 1 October 2012 timeframe. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on only one source providing this service. Responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
