This is a Sources Sought Notice Only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)10.001(a)(3)(i), in order to determine if sources exist capable of satisfying the agency need, the Government will consider all responses to this sources sought notice.


DISCLAIMER: This notice is part of a Government market research effort to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest and will be treated as information only. It does not constitute a solicitation (i.e. request for quote, invitation for bid or request for proposal) nor a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. OBJECTIVE: This Sources Sought notice is being issued to identify potential sources capable of providing Local Nationals Occupational Health Examinations Services Contract, Camp Darby, Livorno, Italy, for Public Health Command-Europe. The service encompasses comprehensive occupational health surveillance to all U.S. Army in Europe (USAREUR) Local National (LN) employees in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Testo Unico sulla Salute e Sicurezza sul Lavoro, D.lgs. 9 Aprile 2008, n. 81 e s.m.i.), revision November 2020, as well as Conditions of Employment for Local National Employees of the U.S. Armed Forces in Italy (COE) effective 1 November 2018, to include all future updates and revisions.


Occupational Examinations of LN employees must be conducted by qualified physicians fully licensed to practice medicine in the Tuscany Region, with, at a minimum, with steady current credentials in Occupational Health Surveillance (Medico Competente) in accordance with Article 38 (Titoli e requisiti del medico competente) of the Legislative Decree 81/2008.


Occupational examination, will need to be conducted at the contractor facilities closest to the US Army Camp Darby Livorno. The contractor must also provide a bilingual (Italian/English) central point of contact and documentation.

The Government desires that respondents offer their experience and recommendations on the following questions and issues related to the procurement of commercial personal and non-personal health care worker services in support of MEDCOM Europe.
