This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation No. 6913G626Q300034 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Terms and Conditions – Commercial Products and Commercial Services.  This solicitation document and Incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-1, effective 03/13/2026.  The NAICS Code is 721110; the Small Business size standard is $40M.

The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), Cambridge, MA in support of the United States Department of Defense will be conducting a workshop to support the sustainability of partner-nation sponsored maritime surveillance systems.  Therefore, the government requires lodging accommodations with specific amenities within a .75-mile radius of the Volpe Center.


REQUIREMENTS / STATEMENT OF WORK


The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation.  Please provide a firm - fixed price quote in accordance with the attached SF-1449 CLINS 00100, 00200, and 00300, Statement of Work, Lodging Requirement Checklist, Wage Determination, FAR Terms and Conditions, Clauses and Provisions and FAR Clause 52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services.  


This notice is expected to result in a single award, subject to receipt of an acceptable proposal.
