Lower Manzanita Phase 1

Live trees will be limbed to a minimum height of 10 feet from the ground to the lowest live green limb, reducing the potential for crown fire initiation. The target outcome is a forest structure with surface fuels primarily composed of leaves and grasses, producing flame lengths under 2 to 4 feet and significantly reduced capacity for sustained crown fire.
