The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing maintenance and fabrication work in support of (1) Utility Float-52. Work will be accomplished at the Contractor's facility. The Government is seeking responses from sources that can perform the following work: Utility Float 52 Characteristics Built by: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Length: 60 FT Draft: 1 FT - 6 IN Width: 15 FT - 0 IN Age: 57 Years Full Displacement: 42 L Tons Light Load: 26 L Tons Hull Type: Steel Coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel to the Contractor's facility. Dock, wash, and clean the exterior surfaces of the vessel upon docking. Remove the existing barge arms. Remove existing aft gusset plates. Remove, clean and install D rubber fender. Install forward mooring bitts. Replace Zinc Anodes. Install new D rubber fendering. Remove and install new manhole/cleanout rings. Blast and preserve tank bottom internal surfaces. Blast and preserve all exterior surfaces of the vessel. Apply new non-skid system to main deck. Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the delivery of the vessel back to the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR. The notional schedule listed below is provided for planning purposes only. The government is not obligated to pursue this schedule or a future solicitation because of this Sources Sought.
