The proposed project includes the replacement of two existing wood pilings for an existing floating dock with two new 8-inch steel pilings. Both pilings will be placed on the north side of the dock. No known sensitive habitats, wetlands, or protected vegetation are proposed to be disturbed as part of this project. No tree removal is proposed. Existing shoreline vegetation will remain undisturbed. The project is limited to the replacement of two existing wooden pilings with new steel pilings, and no future phases of development, dock expansion, shoreline modification, or additional waterfront improvements are currently proposed under this application. The scope of work is limited to the existing pilings for the floating dock, and do not include modifications or expansion to the boat ramp.
