Scope of work • 1.1 Demolition & Removal -PURGE PROPANE FROM SYSTEM - REMOVE TWO PILOT VALVES AND PIPING - REMOVE TWO 6" PROPANE REGULATOR VALVES. - CUT AND REMOVE CONNECTING 6" STEEL PIPING TO ONE REGULATOR VALVE. • 1.2 Site Preparation: - ISOLATE ALL TRAINERS. - PURGE PROPANE SYSTEM WITH NITROGEN. - ENGINEER TO EXAMINE SYSTEM AND PROVIDE SOW FOR CORRECT PROPANE REGULATORS THAT CAN HANDLE THE SYSTEM PSI, VOLUME, AND CONSTANT OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE SYSTEM • 1.3 Construction/Repair: - INSTALL ONE 6" GAS REGULATOR - INSTALL ONE 8" GAS REGULATOR - INSTALL TWO PILOT VALVES. - PLUMBING SYSTEM TO BE A DOUBLE STEPDOWN SYSTEM - UPSIZE STEEL LINE FROM 6" TO 8" IN ORDER TO ADD THE 8" PROPANE REGULATOR. - WELD TWO FLANGES FOR 8" REGULATOR - INSTALL BOTH REGULATORS - INSTALL PILOT VALVE PIPING. - AIR TEST SYSTEM FOR LEAKS • 1.4 Impacts to the Base - PROJECT WILL IMPACT TRAINING SCHEDULE.
