GSA FEDSIM, representing the US Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center (MCNOSC), plans to award an interim sole source task order to Northrop Grumman under the GSA IT Schedule 70 contract GS-35F-4506G for continuation of cyber defense support. This interim task order is intended to bridge the period following the expiration of the previous order on July 12, 2015, and will ensure uninterrupted critical cyber defense services for the Marine Corps. The work covers a wide range of technical, operational, engineering, maintenance, and management functions as part of the Marine Corps’ Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP) program. The period of performance consists of a seven-month firm-fixed-price base period from July 13, 2015, to February 12, 2016, with two optional one-month labor-hour periods extending through April 12, 2016. The total contract value is nearly $12 million.
