AI Contract Overview
The Maricopa County Library District is seeking bids to produce 14,000 glow-in-the-dark library cards, divided equally into two distinct full-color styles featuring unique artwork on the front—one style depicting horses and the other a scorpion. Each card measures 2 1/8 by 3 3/8 inches and includes a glossy composite front with a glow-in-the-dark layer, a black-only back with a signature panel, and an embedded 13-digit barcode. The project emphasizes high-quality printing with specific specifications for materials and design, and vendors must submit their bids exclusively through the PeriscopeS2G platform by February 18, 2025. Evaluation of bids will be at the sole discretion of the issuing department, with the possibility of awarding the contract in whole or in part to one or multiple vendors. All communication, including questions and clarifications, must be directed through the designated platform within the specified timeframes, and vendors are encouraged to submit their Maricopa County Small & Local Certification documentation if eligible. The contract value is estimated to range between $5,000 and $20,000, and the project aims to ensure the library cards are both functional and visually appealing, incorporating glow-in-the-dark features for enhanced visibility and security.
