AI Contract Overview
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey for the planned upgrade of the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWTP) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City. This project involves demolishing the existing IWTP and constructing a new single-story Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) of approximately 4,900 gross square feet. The new facility will include industrial waste treatment processing spaces, office areas, an equalization tank, storm shelter restroom, and utility support areas. Additionally, certain lift stations will be replaced with new double-walled fiberglass wet wells to ensure secondary containment, while others will be demolished and covered. The existing concrete containment trench will be removed and replaced with new double-walled CPVC piping installed by direct burial along the same path. The estimated project value ranges from $10 million to $20 million. Respondents to the market survey are asked to provide a capability statement outlining their services, past contract experience of similar scale, years in business, small business status, and current registration on SAM.gov including their UEI. The FAA emphasizes that this is strictly a market survey, not a solicitation for proposals, and no payment will be made for information submitted or costs incurred in preparation. All responses must be submitted via email by June 22, 2026, to the FAA contact, Andre Casiano. This survey aims to assess industry capabilities to support future procurement efforts for the IWTP upgrade.
