The Government is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to identify responsible firms capable of providing a mobile, self‑propelled stretch wrap machine, or equal, suitable for wrapping palletized, oversized, and irregular loads in an industrial warehouse environment. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability and capability of potential sources and to inform the Government’s acquisition strategy. This notice is not a solicitation and does not commit the Government to award a contract.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333993 – Packaging Machinery Manufacturing. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in manufacturing packaging machinery, such as wrapping, bottling, canning, and labeling machinery. The Small Business Administration small business size standard for NAICS 333993 is currently 600 employees (or fewer) for determining small business status.
The Government’s requirement is for two (2) mobile robotic stretch wrap machine with performance characteristics comparable to the Global Industrial Mobile Robot Stretch Wrap Machine, 20 in. roll width, 84 in. maximum wrap height, or equal. At a minimum, the machine shall:
