Full Description

The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract the creation of a watershed habitat restoration in Little Creek and two side channels in Lewis River. The project requires instream restoration work on two side channels. Located on the Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, this project location is in Amboy, WA. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals (except as otherwise specified), to ensure the services are performed in accordance with the solicitation requirements. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of the prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the contract. This commercial acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 115310- Support Activities for Forestry. The corresponding size standard is $7.5 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience, equipment, and performance schedule), past performance and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. A solicitation for this project will be posted to this website on or around July 2, 2015 with offers due around July 10, 2015.
