The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency plans to issue a sole source modification extending its existing contract with Boeing Company (Contract No. HM0177-11-C-0005) by six months. Boeing currently provides vital technical support, operational problem resolution, program management, and application baseline modifications for the Multimedia Message Manager (M3), an automated message handling system. Due to the specialized nature of the work and existing support structure, transitioning to another vendor at this time could cause significant delays in meeting the agency's operational needs. Meanwhile, NGA is moving forward with preparations for a competitive follow-on contract. They have posted a Request for Information (RFI) on October 27, 2011, seeking input on the Automated Message Handling System, which signals intent to pursue a solicitation in the near future. The contract relates to NAICS code 541512 and is managed out of the Department of Defense office in Springfield, Virginia, with designated points of contact for contracting and specialist roles. This short-term extension allows continuity of support while NGA advances toward a broader competitive procurement process.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source modification for a six-month extension to the Boeing Company under Contract No. HM0177-11-C-0005. Boeing provides technical support, resolution of operational system problems, program management, and modification of the application baseline to the Multimedia Message Manager (M3) automated message handling system. Boeing is currently providing support and to have another vendor at this time would cause unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. NGA is in the process of preparing a solicitation and has posted a Request For Information on FBO on October 27, 2011, for the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) RFI HM017712R00XX for a follow-on competition to this effort.

Hattiesburg Clinic operates two high-availability (HA) pairs of next-generation firewall (NGFW) appliances one HA pair at the Support Services campus and one HA pair at the Orthopaedics campus, where the Clinic's secondary Internet circuit terminates
Solicitation # 4618-20260930092701
The Hattiesburg Clinic is seeking a full one-for-one refresh of its perimeter defense through solicitation 4618-20260930092701. The project requires the replacement of four end-of-life next-generation firewall (NGFW) appliances with two high-availability (HA) pairs, featuring redundant AC power supplies. One HA pair will be deployed at the Support Services campus and the other at the Orthopaedics campus in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The solution must support core security functions including IDS/IPS, web/URL content filtering, LAN-to-LAN IPSec VPN tunneling, and User-ID/Active Directory integration. The contract mandates a minimum three-year term for both premium 24x7 vendor support and advanced threat prevention and URL filtering subscriptions. A critical requirement is the completion of the full cutover for both HA pairs within 90 days of contract execution or equipment delivery, with failover testing conducted to validate vendor-published convergence targets. Implementation services are to be provided on a fixed-fee basis and include rule-base normalization and VPN tunnel migration. Proposals will be evaluated based on price, implementation timeline, support model, and demonstrated capability. Submission requirements include a technical narrative, itemized pricing, a detailed implementation plan, and at least one reference customer of comparable size. Additionally, bidders must provide a signed and notarized Affidavit of Non-Collusion and an MBE/WBE vendor status disclosure if applicable. The response deadline is October 22, 2026, with submissions handled via the Mississippi Agency Bid Bank.

NGA - Boosting Innovative GEOINT - Science & Technology Broad Agency Announcement (BIG-ST BAA): Topic # 07 – Lidar Analysis for Surface & Environmental Reconnaissance (LASER)
Solicitation # HM047627XXXX
The Boosting Innovative GEOINT-Science and Technology (BIG-ST) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), solicitation HM047623BAA0001, is a general solicitation by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to address hard GEOINT problems across three technical domains: Foundational GEOINT, Advanced Phenomenologies, and Analytic Technologies. The BAA operates through separate Topic Calls, with the current active focus being Topic 07, Lidar Analysis for Surface and Environmental Reconnaissance (LASER). This specific effort seeks to develop AI/ML workflows and test methodologies for the autonomous 3D detection and classification of man-made surface and subsurface objects using space lidar data from ICESat-2 and GEDI. The project aims to advance technology from TRL 4 to TRL 5 or 6, with a Phase 2 budget of 854,000 USD over a 15-month period of performance. The government intends to award this effort via a procurement contract or Other Transaction Agreement, evaluating proposals based on a multi-step process including a conformance review and a scientific/technical review to determine the most advantageous offer. Key deliverables for Topic 07 include technical prototypes, a comprehensive software package with source code, and a final algorithm demonstration. Due to the nature of the work, strict security requirements are in place, ranging from unclassified CUI handling to Top Secret/SCI clearances and polygraph testing depending on the specific task. Contractors must also comply with rigorous research and technology protection plans, including the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 and NSPM-33, to mitigate foreign influence and protect critical technology elements.
