Full Description
B08 - Solicitation AMD 0005: The reason for this amendment is to address the question received pertaining to manufacturing lead time of 2-years for the requirement in the specifications for 1500 HP motor components: USACE reached out to representatives regarding solutions to long lead times and discussed remanufactured engines. These engines will satisfy the requirements of the specifications and will have a lead time of approximately 6 months which would work in the project contract duration. Although the current specs do not prohibit remanufactured engines, this amendment is to make it clear that remanufactured engines are allowed and the requirements for them. Therefore, the updated specifications Section 41 65 10 Pages 1, 7-18 is provided. Because of this finding and addressing the updated specification, the closing date is extended to 18 August 2026. Please see updated Section 00 21 13 - Instructions To Bidders for information to the updated times for final BIDS to be submitted and dial in information for the BID Opening meeting scheduled for 18 August 2026.
