The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for the installation of one (1) GE Healthcare Discovery XR656 equipment at the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic located at 1501 Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, Philippines.
This acquisition will be made under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(2), only one source can provide the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized.
The intended Contractor is GE Precision Healthcare, LLC, a Large Business located at 3000 North Grandview Boulevard, Waukesha, WI 53188-1655.
GE Precision Healthcare LLC s Radiology & Imaging Systems are proprietary, and no other distributors are authorized to perform the equipment installation. The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) has an Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with GE Precision Healthcare LLC for this requirement as a sole source delivery/task order against IDIQ VA797H-17-D-0024.
