Notice of intent to extend the period of performance of contract N65236-02-D-5850 with SFA, Inc. to provide engineering and technical support services for Element Management System (EMS) as well as other M&C systems for related communications systems. Services consist of providing design, architecture, development, interfaces, integration, testing training, technical operation and maintenance support to the current fielded M&C systems for selected communications systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The period of performance extension will be issued for six months for the period 22 November 2006 through 21 May 2007 with no increase in the contract ceiling. The period of performance extension will allow the government the time needed to complete an award of the follow-on effort under solicitation N65236-06-R-0543.
