This program responds to heightened legal liabilities and evolving court rulings that now impose greater responsibility on owners to guarantee safe construction practices, necessitating a structured, ongoing approach to oversight and improvement of site safety protocols. The initiative is designed to support a wide range of construction projects under a single vehicle, allowing for flexible and efficient contracting as needs arise. The contract, classified under NAICS code 561612 for construction and demolition services, is forecasted with a posted date of July 9, 2026, and is managed by the Port’s Construction Management division. Primary points of contact include Carol Hassard as the Port Contact and Ann Davidson as the Project Manager, both reachable through official Port of Seattle communication channels.
