National CMOP Hazardous Waste Removal

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a solicitation for a nationwide contract to provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal and disposal services in support of all Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facilities. The services required include collection, packaging, transportation, analysis, treatment, and disposal of hazardous waste, non-hazardous chemical waste, universal waste, pharmaceutical waste, lab packs, and biohazardous sharps containers. The contractor must supply all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, containers, labels, documentation, and certified disposal facilities while complying with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental and transportation regulations. These services will be performed at multiple CMOP sites located across several states including Kansas, Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, and South Carolina. The contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) award with one base year and four option years and is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) certified at the time of offer and award under NAICS code 562112. Recent amendments have extended the solicitation response deadline to June 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM CST, and clarified changes including the correction of a location reference in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) details, updated pricing sheets with new category items, and provided additional CMOP site information and Q&A documents.
