F--NAVAJO DAM WEED TREATMENT

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Regional Office, is soliciting firm fixed price quotes for environmental systems protection services to perform weed treatment at Navajo Dam in San Juan County, New Mexico. The contract covers the control of invasive and undesirable plant and algae species across approximately 100 acres within the Primary Jurisdiction Area and the Boneyard. Performance is scheduled from April 15, 2026, through December 31, 2030, consisting of a base year and four option years. The work requires approximately three mobilizations per year across the spring, summer, and fall seasons to maintain dam infrastructure and ensure environmental compliance. The selected contractor must adhere to the Pesticide Discharge Management Plan and Integrated Pest Management Plan, ensuring all herbicide applications comply with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act and other federal and state regulations. Key requirements include the provision of New Mexico commercial applicator licenses, the submission of safety plans and GIS-based spray reports, and strict adherence to security protocols for accessing sensitive sites. Award will be determined using a trade-off process evaluating technical capability, past performance, and price.
