The project proposes replacing the existing bolted steel tank with a welded steel tank 56’ – 0” in diameter and 32’ – 0” in height (589,624 gallons) located adjacent to the existing tank. The work involved with installation of the water storage tank includes, but is not limited to, restoring the site access road, demolition of the existing tank and concrete foundation pad, installation of a new foundation pad, erection of the new welded steel tank, installing new connection piping to the existing water system, and installing electrical and control wiring for level sensing, alarm floats, and a tank mixer.
Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 2:00 PM on June 25, 2026. All bidders can contact the New Morgan Borough Utilities Authority to visit the site. The Authority contact is Ashlyn Whittingham (Manager), and the telephone number is 610.286.9666.
