Request for Information NG-PCPV
The RCMP West Coast Marines Services (WCMS) provides coastal defence, border security and law enforcement to communities along the coast of British Columbia (BC). WCMS is headquartered in Nanaimo, BC, with a satellite unit located in Prince Rupert, BC.WCMS has three (3) fully equipped patrol vessels: the Inkster, the Lindsay and the Higgitt. These vessels are due for replacement and the RCMP is planning to replace them with three new vessels of a common design.
This RFI is a consultative initiative led by PSPC, on behalf of the RCMP, hereafter referred to as Canada. The purpose of this RFI is to achieve the following:
1) Apprise industry of the requirements of this project;
2) Collect information on compatible vessel designs and technical feasibility of RCMP’s requirements;
3) Collect information on industry capacity and capability to construct and deliver three (3) NG-PCPVs;
4) Seek industry feedback to finalize the technical requirements, and;
5) Seek costing information from industry for budgetary purposes Response is requested on or before August 27th, 15:00H EDT.
