--Notice of Intent to Award

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA), intends to award a sole source contract to MVS Solutions, Inc., 8300 Woodbine Ave., 4th FL, Markham ON L3R 9Y7 Canada pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The requirement is for an upgrade to the ThruPut Manager software license. MVS Solutions is the sole source provider and developer of the ThruPut Manager suite of software technology. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541511 with a small business size standard of $25M. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within the seven (7) business days of this announcements posting date of 14 September 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
