Putnam County School District plans to award a contract for Customer Service and Conflict Resolution Training Services through a Single Source Procurement process under its Policy 450.03 and Florida Statute 287.057 (3) (c). This approach is chosen because it is considered most advantageous for the district due to factors like standardization or warranty, despite the potential availability of other sources. The notice explicitly states that this is not a solicitation but rather an opportunity for interested parties to provide information to determine if a competitive procurement would better serve the district's interests. Responses, including company details and capability statements, must be submitted electronically via the district’s e-Procurement Platform by 6:00 am on June 15, 2026. The procurement is managed by the Purchasing Department located in Palatka, Florida, with Bryan Helms as the Director of Purchasing and Joshua Speicher as the Purchasing Coordinator serving as points of contact. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit written responses to demonstrate their ability to meet the district’s training service needs. The process ensures transparency and allows the district to confirm whether the single source selection remains the best procurement method for delivering the required customer service and conflict resolution training within the school district.
