DESCRIPTION: Contracting Office Address: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, 94th Contracting Flight, 1538 Atlantic Avenue, Dobbins ARB, GA, 30069-4917, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source contract for design and installation of Knoll office furniture. Delivery will be NLT 23 Nov 2010. The contract will be awarded via Federal Supply Schedule (GSA) delivery order to Knoll, Inc. c/o Fens Associates, LLC, 1235 Water Street, East Greenville, PA, 18041-2202. Market research was previously conducted for an original acquisition and it has been determined this is a sole source requirement; this procurement will complete a planned renovation project. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a), Only One Responsible Source (or a Limited Number.) The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 337211 with a Small Business Administration (SBA) Size Standard of 500 employees. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44, effective July 8, 2010. Parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the requirement stated herein, to Jaclyn Yates, Contract Specialist, at jaclyn.yates@us.af.mil by August 16, 2010, not later than 2:00 PM EST.
