The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Public Affairs, Division of Creative Services, intends to issue a sole source award to The Switch Enterprises, LLC for bi-directional fiber connection service to link with media outlets and transmission service providers in Washington, DC, as well as the larger worldwide media community. This fiber connection service allows access to local and international broadcast studios, allowing DOL leadership, such as the Secretary of Labor, to promote DOL's mission to the public via TV interviews, live speeches, live events, and emergency messages. This fiber connection also allows CS to receive audiovisual content of interest to, or including DOL personnel, such as White House events, remote location broadcasts, and remote interviews.
