The current sampling tower, located at MLO, was built in 1986 and stands 40m tall. It is an internal-climb, staircase-scaffolding, sampling tower and has platforms located every 6-feet. Additionally, four of the platforms are outfitted with quad receptacle power outlets. There is no known structural damage to the tower itself, however the guy line anchor points are rusted, and the tower is over 36-years old and does not meet current code requirements.
