The project involves the redevelopment of a 35-acre site in San Bernardino, California, into a commercial facility featuring a 755,520-square-foot industrial building constructed with concrete tilt-up panels and architectural finishes in the office areas, which total 13,000 square feet across two floors. The facility will include a truck court with loading docks, designated parking for passenger vehicles and trailers, and comprehensive site improvements such as landscaping, lighting, fencing, utilities, and signage. The building will stand approximately 58 feet tall and is designed for round-the-clock operations, seven days a week, supporting industrial and logistics activity without fixed operating hours. The development is speculative in nature, meaning it is being undertaken without a pre-leased tenant, and requires approval from San Bernardino County through a Conditional Use Permit to proceed. The project site is located in the 92335 zip code, and the initiative is being managed by local planning officials with technical support from external consultants.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District, is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of a Precision Guided Munitions (PGM) Facility at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This total small business set-aside project, with an estimated magnitude between 10 million and 40 million dollars, involves the creation of a high-bay facility to support the assembly, disassembly, inspection, testing, and repair of missile and glide munitions. The base bid covers a 14,685 square foot facility, with an option for an additional 1,531 square foot maintenance bay, bringing the total potential area to 16,216 square feet. The facility will feature four drive-through work bays, each equipped with a 2-ton overhead bridge crane, a test cell for rocket motor electrical checks, secure administrative spaces, and specialized storage and support rooms. Construction will utilize reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel frames, fully grouted CMU, and standing seam metal roofing, all adhering to DoD Unified Facilities Criteria and Air Force explosives safety standards. The project is a single-phase design-build, firm-fixed-price procurement with a performance period of 730 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. Key technical requirements include ICD/ICS 705 compliance for secure spaces, comprehensive fire protection meeting NFPA 13, and the integration of advanced security systems including IDS, ACS, and CCTV.
