July 2024, NH-12 lower level men's room tested positive for asbestos. Abatement is required for health and safety of workforce in the Building. Recommend most expedient means of execution. If contractor is used, PWD removes wash tub and HVAC unit. Contractor will complete asbestos mitigation in restroom and on outside wall in passageway from floor to about 4 feet high. PWD will reinstall HVAC unit. After mitigation is complete, contractor will rebuild walls and reinstall hand sink and cabinet (this work will have a separate cost estimate).
