NSN CEP-200 REPLACE AHU-2, AHU-5 & DDC INSTALLATION

Description of Problem/Requirement: As part of MARMCs Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Sustainment Plan, MARMC Facilities has a requirement for the replacement of two Climate Performance Changers in building CEP-200 and one (1) DX Unit. These units are no longer within the service life expectancy with no factory support and the best estimated age of the existing AHUs is 40 years. Combined with the unit’s age, lack of factory support and parts availability creates a vulnerability for failure in the habitability for MARMC employees. AHU # 2 A. Replace existing Air Handling Unit (AHU) located inside of Machine Room 1042 (SW side of bldg.) B. Provide new BACnet Digital Data Controller (DDC) C. Provide and install maintenance platform and/or cat walks around AHU with safety railings to include access ladder from ground level. AHU # 5 A. Replace existing Air Handling Unit (AHU) located above the Vending / Break Room (1st Floor). B. Provide new BACnet Digital Data Controller (DDC) C. Provide and install maintenance platform and/or cat walks around AHU with safety railings to include access ladder from ground level. DX Unit A. It’s estimated this unit was relocated to the vending / break room around 20 years and is currently not providing conditioned air to the space. The condenser and AHU are in the overhead approximately 10 feet from AHU #5. MARMC would like to have this unit removed and the space be tied into the new AHU #5 This is a customer funded project: Command UIC: N50054
